October 1, 2007 - Volcanos
We are not a perfect people.
Warning #1 the bees - the word is not being preached.
Warning #2 the volcanos - multiple places in the world at the same time.
When we examined the bees, we went to the word - what does the Lord say about bees.
Now why are there volcanos is Hawaii, Yemeni (at the Red Sea), and Mount Ruapheu
in New Zealand that have all erupted between September 25th and October
1? What's up with that? These were not places of volcano
activity, this was out of place. Nothing had happened in these
places in years!! Why now? Is God trying to talk to us?
Three
is the number of spiritual completion. I don't expect there will
be another eruption anywhere else in the world that is
unexpected. We have seen all the eruptions and it is
complete. But why?
Searching the scripture
for the word eruption, or volcano will avail you nothing. What is
God's meaning by this next turn of events?
The answer is in Psalms 95:
Psalms 95
1. Oh come, let us sing to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation.
2. Let us come before His presence with thanksgiving; Let us shout joyfully to Him with psalms.
3. For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
4. In His hand are the deep places of the earth; The heights of the hills are His also.
5. The sea is His, for He made it; And His hands formed the dry land.
6. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.
7. For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture,
And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice:
8. "Do not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, And as in the day of trial in the wilderness,
9. When your fathers tested Me; They proved Me, though they saw My work.
10. For forty years I was grieved with that generation, And said, `It is a people who go astray in their hearts, And they do not know My ways.'
11. So I swore in My wrath, `They shall not enter My rest.' ''
The volcanos are formed in the deep places of the earth.
The volcanos spew out of the heights of the hills.
The volcanos flow lava to the sea.
The volcanos form dry land, extremely dry as water is instantly turned to steam.
The Psalm starts with a word of worship! God is calling us to worship.
Verse 6 - come, let us worship and bow down!! Kneel before our Lord and Maker!!
It wasn't enough to send one volcano, He needed to send three so people would take notice. Are you taking notice?
If you're not sure if you should get on your knees now:
Verse 8 - Do not harden your hearts !!
God calls that
rebellion. Tell someone tomorrow that God sent the volcanos as a
warning and you are praying. They will think you're nuts!!
But are you? Do you feel the sense of urgency of the Holy Spirit
inside of you saying, "Yea, this is true?" Do you feel there
isn't enough true worship, in Spirit and in Truth, as the Lord
seeks? If not, then get on your knees now and see what it feels
like !!
Verse 9 - God was tested
in the past by the prior generations, but, Psalms 95 is not about the
prior generation. That's in the past! This is about
NOW. It's about TODAY.
Verse 10 - God is grieved
by the lack of worship of the people who know Him. Are you a
Jew? This is for you. Are you a Christian? This is
for you. God wants worship. True worship in Spirit is only
as a Christian can do, because the Holy Spirit is imparted to the
Christian and not the Jew. Is it your time to grieve the Lord or answer His call?
Verse 11 - I swore in my wrath that they would not enter into My rest.
So, who is the they in they would not enter into My rest? And what rest are they talking about? Is God that angry?
If verse 11 is about this generation of 2007 then let's face up to what God is trying to tell us.
1) We have forgotten Him, which is evident from the 2007 type of worship?
Does your worship talk about you?
"I will worship"
"I will sing your praise"
"I will follow"
Or does your worship talk about Him?
For the Lord is the great God, And the great King above all gods.
2) We have either a warning from the Lord, or a judgment.
Warning: Are we being warned that if we fail to worship, NOW, IMMEDIATELY we will not enter into His rest?
Too Late: Or is He saying we have passed the point of entering in, and we are starting the point of the tribulation?
There is no 7-year peace agreement being signed, there is no third temple at the temple mount. However, they are digging (as we speak) and uncovering antiquities of the temple below the ground work of al-Aqsa. So, does the old temple rise as the new temple uncovered for the first time in centuries? Is it coming to pass as we speak?
3) Is this all really just a warning for the churches? One denomination is trying to usher in the Spirit of God on Oak Street, while another denomination is trying to release the Spirit on Main Street. God can do it, but, these two denominations don't see eye to eye. That's why they have separate ministries, and separate funds, and separate congregations and people who are not of one mind towards Christ and one another. Therefore, the pastor, priest, minister will tell you, "There is no rest in getting this ministry going."
I hold true to a single testimony; what does the Lord say? If you will say what He says He will prosper it. His words are life!! His words are life abundant!! Are we so arrogant as to not get on our knees and humble ourselves before the great and mighty Lord, Jesus Christ? Are we so proud as to not believe that this is the time of prophesy for those who would follow should choose to believe?
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and instruction. (Proverbs 1:7)
I may not be correct in the interpretation of God's signs in volcanos which point back to His word. Maybe it's all a coincidence. In trembling I buried my knees on the floor and I worshiped. Maybe I'm the only one, and I don't care. God may spare this land of ours for only one humble soul. He relented at Nineveh, but not at Sodom and Gomorrah. If we are one nation under God, let's act like it.
P.S. Did warning #3 (miners) predate warning #2 (volcanos)?
Did you also notice that there were three mining accidents in the same month over the summer? Three is spiritual completion. Nine (killed miners) is the number of judgment. Was God trying to tell us something about going deeper?
