Jesus the Christ said that His return would come after His Gospel was preached to everyone on the earth. At His Second Coming those who believe in Jesus are expected to be supernaturally removed from this earth, or "Raptured". Some people, who were not ready to believe that Gospel, will be left behind. Others who just refuse to accept the Gospel of Jesus and God ( and the Holy Spirit ) will be left behind as well. I do not want YOU to be left behind.

THE TEMPLE

It may sound silly to be talking about a Temple when there are so many synagogues in the world. After all, a synagogue is a place for a Jewish man or woman to worship. But, the Temple is somewhat different. In the days when there truly was a Temple in Jerusalem, sacrifice was made on the alter to atone for sins. The ceremony was solemn, and the whole point was to remove sin from the people. The Bible says that all have sinned therefore, if we have all sinned, then we don't stand much chance before a Holy God. After all, isn't God who is offended? Don't we have to atone to Him? The synagogue, as compared to the Temple, is not where the sacrifice is made for the sins of God's people. That atoning sacrifice can only be done, in the Temple.

There is a problem, however, in modern times. The Temple doesn't exist. In the place of the Temple is a Mosque. The Temple is Holy and Sacred to those of the Jewish faith, while the Mosque is Holy and Sacred to those of the Muslim faith. Yet, the Bible is clear about this one thing: The Anti-Christ is found standing in the Temple declaring to the world that He is God. ( See One World ) Therefore, someone needs to rebuild the Temple for this to happen. I can only assume that the devout Jewish men and women of Israel would build such a structure. In fact, they want to build the structure because they once again are living in the promiced land of Israel, again. ( See Return to Israel ) Without the Temple, the Messiah will not return. This is the hope for a devout Jewish man and woman.

For those who believe that Jesus is the Messiah, notice that when He was born ( 2000 years ago ) there was a Temple. The interesting thing is that Christian believers see the messianic prophecy as fulfilled, while current Jewish teaching sees it as a coming event. Yet, let me make one thing clear. The Jewish Book of Daniel and the Christian Gospels agree on this one point - a Temple when erected will have the Anti-Christ standing within it citing himself as God. The other fundamental belief of those who recognize Jesus as the Messiah, is that atonement of sin is complete through the blood of Jesus, so another physical Temple is not really needed for any reason, except to fulfill scripture.

Someone will have a life changing event happen as he or she reads through this information. The facts below belong to all of us, therefore use freely for study, school reports or personal reflection. Ask your pastor, priest, minister, rabbi for more information in each heading in Column 1. Feel free to use anything remembering we have been asked to comfort one another with these words.

The Temple Cleansing: Numbers 19:2 This is the ordinance of the law which the Lord hath commanded, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, that they bring thee a red heifer without spot, wherein is no blemish, and upon which never came yoke: Numbers 19:11. He that toucheth the dead body of any man shall be unclean seven days. 12. Jews cannot enter the Temple Mount because they are unclean, have handled the "dead", and will not enter "Holy Ground" unclean. It is sacrilege. The Red Heifer gives new hope. Once cleaned Jews could enter and possibly survey the Temple Mount to build a new Temple. In Closing:

God's words are a covenant, an eternal promise.
His declarations years ago through the prophets are coming true right before our eyes. His words were echoed before Jesus lived as a man.
They were echoed while Jesus lived as a man. They were echoed after Jesus lived. This is the work of God eternal.

Become one with Jesus - the Savior, the Messiah - today. Ask for Jesus to live with you, to be your Messiah. Only YOU stand between your choice of eternal homes.

Those who have accepted Jesus, and have died in body, are "asleep" in the Spirit awaiting the day of His coming.

Those who have not accepted Jesus, yet have heard his Gospel ( that He died for your sins on the cross ), are subject to Judgment and perhaps eternal damnation.

These Spirits, that have not accepted Jesus, are considered "dead". Those who are dead, will be condemned to hell.

Those who have accepted Jesus sleep and will rise to eternal salvation. It's your choice how you will spend eternity.
