Reenacting Henry Hudson 1609 Voyage
on the Half Moon replica

Sept. 7 to Sept. 19, 2002

Students from the Philip Livingston Magnet Academy and Rensselaer Middle High will sail on the Half Moon replica reenacting Henry Hudson historic 1609 voyage of discovery. Starting in lower New York Harbor and ending the Albany, the students will follow Henry Hudson's course up the Hudson River, stopping on the same days and locations where Hudson stopped in 1609.

Sept. 19   Half Moon Arrival and Reception at Corning Preserve, Albany

Sept. 21 to Oct. 14   Group tours of the Half Moon may be scheduled for Mondays through Fridays, 8 am to 2:30 pm. Group tours can be booked through the Albany Visitors Center,
518-434-0405.

The Half Moon is open to the general public on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. For more information, call the Albany Visitors Center at 518-434-0405.

Oct. 18 to Oct. 20  Half Moon returns to Verplanck
