Waterford's tugboat tradition continues this year September 6th through
8th as the Town of Waterford, NY, hosts the 4th Annual Waterford Tugboat

As always, a full compliment of events is in store for the entire weekend.
Festivities commence on Friday, September 6th, with a tugboat parade from
Albany to Waterford. The tugs are scheduled to depart Albany at 3 P.M.
on Friday, and arrive in Waterford at around 6 P.M. While waiting for
the tugs, those in attendance will be serenaded by canal balladeer George
Ward.What follows will be a night of reverie and two days of maritime
heritage celebration. From the marine flea market along the battery, to
Saturday's chicken barbecue, to distinguished speakers
- Friday, September 6th, with a tugboat parade from Albany to Waterford.
The tugs are scheduled to depart Albany at 3 P.M. on Friday, and arrive
in Waterford at around 6 P.M.
- Tours will be available on the tugs from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. on Saturday
and 10 A.M. to 3 P.M. on Sunday.
