Museum Opens for the Season May 4th

Calendar for the 2002 Season

The Hudson River Maritime Museum opens to the public on May 4, the weekend of the annual Kingston shad festival. This year's museum exhibit, created in cooperation with Kingston's 350th Anniversary Celebration, will focus on the maritime history of Hudson River related to Kingston. Scheduled boat rides to the Rondout Lighthouse will begin this weekend. Some of the major events for 2002 include:

  • Lighthouse Festival and Kayak Show
  • Harvest Moon Festival
  • Haunted Lighthouse

The museum opens to the public on May 4 and will remain open until October 20.
