Bible Study for Teens
Mail James 2:14 "What does it profit, my brethren, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can faith save him? "

Matthew 21:28-32 "Prepare your heart."
The scripture talks about one son who hears, but does not act. The other son hears and acts. We should seek God's favor
at all times. Decide to make a change in yourself, today.
Exodus 31:1-11 "A Study of Bezalel" ( Bezalel is mentioned again in next weeks study. )
Bezalel is Filled with the Holy Spirit. As we read, the scripture shows:
a. God uses people Filled with the Holy Spirit to do His work. ( Notice, helpers were NOT filled with the Spirit )
b. The work done by a minister of God accomplishes execellent work(s).
c. God can use what you accomplish. Notice how God "settles" into the tabernacle after the work is done. What an honor.
Exodus 35:30 - Exodus 36:1 "Starting the work on the tabernacle."
Exodus 37:1-9 "The special task that ONLY Bezalel could do."
Exodus 39:32-43 "Work Completed"
Exodus 40:34-38 "God's Presence"
John 1:29-34 "A Study of John the Baptist"
John the Baptist followed "Him who sent me to baptize with water..." He had no clear evidence, but, for his faith and for listening
He was rewarded to know whom the Messiah by doing what God requested of him. "Him who sent" is not defined, but
is of God, likely, the Holy Spirit. John ACTED with Faith.
Acts 6:1-4 "Finding the next disciple"
What is you were called? What are the requirements? How did the Apostles know who was Filled with the Holy Spirit?
Matt 5:6 "Getting Filled with the Spirit, requires something from you."
Righteousness is not only living what is right, but, seeking it in others. The Apostles looked for a righteous man.
John 16:13 "Lead by the Spirit"
John the Baptist ACTED upon what was told him. Bezalel ACTED upon what was told him. The Holy Spirit is one step
ahead because God has dictated this is what would be. ( He will tell you of things to come. ) In ACTING, they pleased
God. This is FAITH in ACTION.
Acts 13:8-12 "Effects of the Holy Spirit on the UnRighteous"
Paul acted on behalf of God and delivered something in the physical for something that already was in the spiritual, blindness.
Notice in verse (12) the proconsul was brought to faith, thus, God got the glory. God got the witness. The Holy Spirit
delivered.
Summary: Are you being called to be a disciple? Are you being called into righteousness? Are you ready to do the work of
the Holy Spirit? Are you ready to please God by your acts of Faith?
