Jesus the Christ said that His return would come after His Gospel was preached to everyone on the earth. At His Second Coming those who believe in Jesus are expected to be supernaturally removed from this earth, or "Raptured". Some people, who were not ready to believe that Gospel, will be left behind. Others who just refuse to accept the Gospel of Jesus and God ( and the Holy Spirit ) will be left behind as well. I do not want YOU to be left behind.

ISRAEL

In Genesis chapter 15, God gives to Abraham a land from the great river in Egypt, to the river Euphrates. The land is the land of Israel, although, it is not yet called Israel when it is given to Abraham. Abraham has not seen this land, yet, he know it exists because God said it existed. (Area Map) Why is this important? Because this land has yet to be fully recognized as the land of Israel. Israel dwarfs the dimensions that God had planned. Consider buying land and receiving less than half. Consider being promised in A+ in class, only to get a C on the report card. Consider that the Jews are the promised of God and they, as a people, through thick and thin, have continued to be God's people, even now, in these last days. The promises were to the Jews. So also, is punishment for lack of faith, for rejection of Jesus (those who believe, will be raptured see above). Therefore, this time of abundant land is coming. All believe that it will exist when Messiah is on the throne.

What makes this country (about the size of New Jersey) so special is that God has chosen this place as His timepiece. While Abraham was promised Israel, the people who made it to Israel (lead in by Joshua) settled it but didn't prosper. Sin got in the way of God and they were rejected from the land - twice, once by the Babylonians, once by the Romans. Yet, they are once again a country brought together just as the Bible stated ( see Return to Israel below ). This has kicked off a set of events that we recognize as "end times". But, more than that, God's people - called by His name - continue to return to Israel.

Why return? Perhaps to once again be the witnesses to His greatness when He comes to save them, just as He did for Moses, or Hezekiah, or Joshua, or Sampson? Yes, I truly believe so. But, there is also judgment that is coming. Judgment can be waived by believing that Jesus is the Messiah, believing that He died for your sins, and rose after death on a cross to salvation. That kind of belief, belief that Jesus can and will protect and save you comes with a cost. A life for a life. You give your life to Jesus, so that Jesus can rule and reign in your life. It's really an excellent exchange.

Israel when it was desolate of Jews, was also desolate of life. When the Jews returned, Israel became a land of thriving.

One final point, Jerusalem is the crux to the Biblical story. It is the capitol of Israel, the Holy City of God, yet also "holy" to the Muslims. It is here that the new Temple will be built ( see The Temple ), and where the anti-christ will proclaim himself as God ( see Godlessness ). It is here that two witnesses of Jesus will walk and try to convince others that Jesus really is King of Kings and Lord of Lords. They will be killed, according to scripture, and then resurrected and raised up to heaven after 3 days.

Meanwhile, the world community is seeking peace in the Middle East. By creation of a Palestinian state, would that truly gain any peace? Does any gift truly make people happy especially after the newness wears off? I think not. Further, the state of Palestine would be taken from the country of Israel, which is already too small and presidents, kings, ambassadors, are seeking to make Israel smaller. This opposes what God had deemed from the beginning in His promise to Abraham.

This is a land of struggle. "Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. " Romans 10: 1. NKJ

Someone will have a life changing event happen as he or she reads through this information. The facts below belong to all of us, therefore use freely for study, school reports or personal reflection. Return to Israel Ezekiel 11:17. The correct person is Jesus. Matthew 3: 9-10 See the Apostasy above. Beware of the Palestinian Peace Plan. (The Road Map) By 2005 both Israel will be smaller, and Palestine will be established. It is contrary to the word of God, therefore, it with either fail, or come with severe concequence. Dec 17, 2007 - 70 nations will bankroll Palestine. If there should be a skirmish between Israel and Palestine, international funds used to build Palestine may be leveled. Israel will be more hated by the world than before. See Zechariah 12:2-3. Yet, the Bible says there will be no peace in this area. Therefore 2 states will not solve the issue. It's another stepping stone of deception.	The Curse is at hand!

In Closing:

God's words are a covenant, an eternal promise.
His declarations years ago through the prophets are coming true right before our eyes. His words were echoed before Jesus lived as a man.
They were echoed while Jesus lived as a man. They were echoed after Jesus lived. This is the work of God eternal.

Become one with Jesus - the Savior, the Messiah - today. Ask for Jesus to live with you, to be your Messiah. Only YOU stand between your choice of eternal homes.

Those who have accepted Jesus, and have died in body, are "asleep" in the Spirit awaiting the day of His coming.

Those who have not accepted Jesus, yet have heard his Gospel ( that He died for your sins on the cross ), are subject to Judgment and perhaps eternal damnation.

These Spirits, that have not accepted Jesus, are considered "dead". Those who are dead, will be condemned to hell.

Those who have accepted Jesus sleep and will rise to eternal salvation. It's your choice how you will spend eternity.
