The Historical Society of Woodstock mission is dedicated to preserving
the history of Woodstock, NY. The Society was formed in 1929, by a group
of volunteers who saw the need to preserve the past for furture generations.
The Museum is located on Comeau Drive, 81 Tinker Street, in Woodstock, NY.
The Society produces a new show each year that depicts a different aspect
of Woodstock life. There is a permanent tool room, photography display, art
and many other items that help one view the past. The Museum is open
weekends, July through September. New members are welcome. Your support,
by way of a donation, fund raising ideas, or purchasing specially designed
items with a piece of Woodstock history, is appreciated.
